Maintenance sessions – also known as “drill” sessions – are designed for clients and dogs who have already completed their training package(s) with us. These sessions are short practice sessions for working on existing training skills under the supervision of your trainer, and are ideal for reactive dogs, service dogs, and any other dogs who require long-term maintenance training to keep their skills sharp.
Maintenance sessions are not designed to teach brand-new skills or address new problem behaviors. Instead, these sessions should be used to ensure your dog is still on the right track and make minor alterations to existing skills.
When scheduling your session with your trainer, please let your trainer know any specific goals for the session as this will help them adequately prepare any equipment or assistants needed.
