Grooming should not only be a luxury for your pets but it is also a necessity.  Most dogs require grooming by a professional every 4-6 weeks.  This will keep your furry companion smelling clean and help keep them feeling comfortable.   Regular grooming by a professional can often help spot health problems before they become serious or life threatening since your pet most likely sees the groomer more often than it sees the vet.  I feel that it is my duty as a professional groomer to check every inch of your dog during a grooming session.  Keeping your dog on a regular grooming schedule will help prevent matting.  When fur mats together it pulls and tugs at the skin which is uncomfortable for your pet and does not allow the skin to breathe properly which can lead to skin infections and other problems.  Keeping your dog mat free by working with a professional groomer is the humane and sanitary way to responsibly own a dog.  Have a pet that competes in canine sports like Agility?  Keeping your dogs nails cut or grinding on a 2-4 week schedule can help improve your dogs performance and prevent injury.  Have a pet that does not enjoy the grooming process?  Sometimes a calmer environment helps tremendously.  As a trainer,  I can also give you desensitization homework to practice at home that will help your pet start to enjoy its regular grooming session.  Of course, bringing your pet regularly helps them get used to the process.

All grooms include a haircut, nail trim and/or grinding, ear cleaning/plucking, shampoo, conditioner, facial, tooth brushing, anal gland expression, undercoat removal using a high velocity hand dryer and happy hoodie, fluff dry, fragrance,  and bandana or bows.  I am also happy to educate interested owners on home maintenance grooming in between grooms with a professional as well as proper diets to help minimize allergies in an effort to help keep your pet healthy, happy and smelling fresh!  Please make sure to have proof of vaccinations  on hand.  Prices vary depending on breed, type of hair cut, and condition of coat.  Extra charges will occur if matting is present.  Please be aware that because we provide your pet with one on one attention we book out in advance.  We rarely have same day or next day appointments available.  Payment is accepted in form of cash or check only (all checks made payable to      Jesi Kirk).
